Students will proceed with Chapter 8 Measurements this week converting  customary measurements such as length, time, weight and capacity. They will also convert metric measurements of length, time and capacity between units.  Remember, to convert a larger unit (yards) to a smaller unit (inches), you multiply.  To convert a smaller unit (centimeters) to a bigger unit (meters), you divide.  There will be a Quiz Friday on the ability to convert between units of measure within the same measurement system. I anticipate the Chapter 8 test to be Thursday, April 25. Students will continue practice with Multiplication Timed Tests of basic facts.
