On Monday, students take a Quiz on Geometry topics of lines, polygons, triangles and Quadrilaterals. Next, we cover topics of perimeter, area and volume from Chapter 12. A short quiz on those topics will be held Friday. We are covering just a few topics from each chapter as we wrap up skills present in the new Math Common Core Standards. Each week from now until the end
of the year, students will be given a Problem Solving WS due on Fridays. Students will also receive some homework assignments reviewing the skills they learned in fifth grade.
