We begin Chapter 4 Division this week.  We will cover vocabulary, estimating with multiples and interpreting remainders as we explore dividing 2-digit numbers by 1-digit numbers.  There will be a quiz on these skills on Friday.  A good way to look ahead is to use the GoMath website, choosing "Carmen San Diego Animated Math Models" Grade 4 icon (skills 13 and 14).  Additionally, check out new Math games by clicking on the Math Websites Tab above. We continue weekly Multiplication Facts timed practice drills.  You can print your own worksheets from Math-drills.com (website listed in Tab above).

Fifth Grade Math
We cover Chapter 3 Lessons 11-12 as students understand adding and subtracting decimals as related to money and bank balances!  We will review on Wednesday and take the Chapter 3 Test on Thursday. A good way to practice skills  is to use the GoMath website, choosing "Carmen San Diego Animated Math Models Grade 5 icon (skills 15-18). Check out new Math games by clicking on Math Websites Tab above.
