MATH
Fourth Grade
4th graders will cover Adding and Subtracting fractions with like denominators, (Chapter 7 lessons 2 - 5) this week, taking a Quiz on Thursday. Students will receive additional homework sheets to practice the skills learned in Chapter 6. Use Carmen San Diego Math Model Skills 27-32, to practice concepts from Chapter 7. Remember we need to share logins 1-4 at this time.
Multiplication Facts: Students will be receiving multiplication fact homework each week in order to master their facts. They are responsible for writing facts 5x each. You can print your own worksheets to practice from Math-drills.com, play online games (see Math Websites Tab above), or borrow some "Holey Cards" from Mrs. Hall.
Fifth Grade
5th graders will cover Chapter 7, Lessons 3-7 this week. Students should use notes in their spirals to help with homework each night. There will be a Quiz on Thursday covering Lessons 1 - 5 (not mixed number multiplication). Use Carmen San Diego Math Model Skills 27-28, to practice concepts from Chapter 7. Remember we need to share logins 1-4 at this time.
