MATH
Fourth Grade
4th graders will cover elapsed time on Monday and begin reviewing for the Chapter 12 Quest which will occur on Thursday, May 21. A Quest is test in quiz format, without word problems. The Student Edition Chapter 6 Review/Test was assigned last week and is due on Monday, May 18. Use Carmen San Diego Math Models Skills to practice concepts from Chapter 12. We share logins 1-4.
Continue practicing multiplication facts at home, as we will continue the oral/verbal Facts Fluency Assessment. To prepare, you can print your own worksheets from Math-drills.com, play online games (see Math Websites Tab above), or borrow some "Holey Cards" from Mrs. Hall. Tuesday and will be used as a graded homework assignment).
Fifth Grade
5th graders Chapter 11 Student Edition Review/Test is due on Monday. It will not be considered a "Graded" homework assignment since it is being used to help them practice and prepare for Tuesday's Quest (5/19). The Quest covers Chapter 11 Geometry and Volume concepts along with a review of Area and Perimeter. It is called a Quest because it is in Quiz format, only containing 2 word problems. Students can complete the Practice Book "Extra Practice" pages for 2 points of Extra Credit on the Quest. The Online assignment to use Carmen San Diego Math Models for Chapter 11 skills, will be collected on Monday May 18th. 5th graders will receive a Computation Review WS and take a 4th Quarter Computation Test on Friday, May 22nd.

Wednesday and Fridays from 7:15am - 7:45am
Also, Mrs. Lux will be available at 7:20am on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays to assist students as well!
SCIENCE
Fourth Grade
4th graders will finish up Lesson 1 (invertebrates) and will have a quiz on Tuesday, May 19th. We will begin Lesson 2.
Fifth Grade
5th graders will begin work on Chapter 3 (Adaptations). They will be reading Lesson 1 in pairs, answering questions and taking quizzes.

Religion
We will continue with and finish Chapter 10, The Church's Message, this week as students learn about the 4 Marks of the Church. An open book assessment and activity sheet will be given on Friday 5/22.
