Week of January 5th

Social Studies UPDATE:  Hi 5th Graders and Families!

Since school has been closed due to weather I would like to give an
update.  On Friday (as long as the weather continues to cooperate) we
will have a work day and NOT have the younger grades come in.  We will
have laptops in the classroom to use.  Here is what you could work on
tomorrow:
-Get pictures for your presentation board printed
-Outlines (but I believe every one has finished)
-Creative item
-PowerPoint slides- if each member makes some slides (individually)
bring them in on a flash drive or have your parent email them to me
and we can combine all your slides into one presentation.  Make slides
on what you specifically researched.
-Opinion paragraph (the on your own part)

We will still be presenting on Monday and Tuesday.  Our presentation
schedule is:

Monday 8:15-9:20

2. Arctic/Subarctic
3. Great Basin
4. Southeastern Woodlands
5. Northeast Iroquoian Speakers

Tuesday 1:00-2:00

be down in the school hall to present!

You all have been working hard and I know everyone is in good shape!
