Week of November 23

HAPPY THANKSGIVING
We all have so much to be thankful for!

MATH

Fourth Grade

We are off to a good start on Chapter 4 Division. The students have been working hard so while they while they are enjoying their little break, it’s a perfect time to go on-line to review the concepts we have covered thus far.  There will be a short Quiz on Tuesday covering Lessons 1-5 and a few long division problems. Their notes should be in their binders, titled “Long Division” Division Family. Have a great Thanksgiving.

Fifth Grade

5th graders will continue Chapter 5, Multiplying with Decimals, covering lessons 5-7 this week. We will have a quiz on Tuesday over Lessons 1 - 6, since we did not have a quiz last Friday.

Religion

5th graders did a wonderful job reading and participating in the Tuesday Masses.
Thanksgiving is a combination of two words – thanks and giving.   It is the
time of year when we say “thank you” for all that God has provided, as
well as a time of sharing with those who lack the basic things of life.  We
will be sharing some of these basic things at this Tuesday’s Mass.  I truly
believe that it is more blessed to give than to receive.  May we all have a
“Blessed Thanksgiving” this year.
