HAPPY THANKSGIVING
We all have so much to be thankful for!
MATH
Fourth Grade
We are off to a good start on
Chapter 4 Division. The students have been working hard so while they while
they are enjoying their little break, it’s a perfect time to go on-line to
review the concepts we have covered thus far. There will be a short Quiz
on Tuesday covering Lessons 1-5 and a few long division problems. Their
notes should be in their binders, titled “Long Division” Division Family. Have
a great Thanksgiving.
Fifth Grade
5th graders will continue Chapter 5, Multiplying with Decimals, covering lessons 5-7 this week. We will have a quiz on Tuesday over Lessons 1 - 6, since we did not have a quiz last Friday.
4th & 5th Grade Multiplication Facts
This week, fifth grade will test on the ELEVENS on Tuesday, while 4th grade works on the the NINEs! Most fourth graders should aim for completing 25 facts per minute and fifth graders should aim for completing 30 facts per minute. You can print your own worksheets from Math-drills.com, play online games (see "Math Websites Tab" above), or borrow some "Holey Cards" from Mrs. Hall.

Religion
5th graders did a wonderful job reading and participating in the Tuesday Masses.
Thanksgiving is a combination of two words – thanks and giving. It is the
time of year when we say “thank you” for all that God has provided, as
well as a time of sharing with those who lack the basic things of life. We
will be sharing some of these basic things at this Tuesday’s Mass. I truly
believe that it is more blessed to give than to receive. May we all have a
“Blessed Thanksgiving” this year.
